Lonely Planet People

Travelers across South America are talking about the latest addition to the Foz backpacker scene. Surrounded by two small lakes and lush scenery, the Hostel Natura is a gorgeous setting to play, eat and sleep after spending the day at Iguaçu Falls. Service is top-notch at this nature-loving newcomer. Whatever your little traveling heart desires - whether it's a hot, home-cooked dinner or a lift to the border - the staff at Hostel Natura will oblige. Facilities are also excellent. The four six-bed dormitories and four private rooms are neat and tidy; all are equipped with air-conditioning and some with private bathrooms. Internet access, laundry and kitchen facilities are on site. And you won't lack for entertainment: recreation options include a swimming pool, football field, snooker table and playstation. The highlight is the outdoor bar, where you can help yourself to drinks and charge them to your tab while you chill with your compadres. You can't beat the Hostel Natura for its combination of ecology, entertainment and adventure at an affordable price.
